Gunmen in military uniform waylay commercial van, abduct 13 passengers in Niger state

Niger police command, on Wednesday, said 13 travellers were abducted by gunmen at Konar Barau village in Rafi LGA of the state. Monday Kuryas, Niger commissioner of police, confirmed the incident. Gunmen storm meeting of Imo traditional rulers, kill two

The traditional institution in Imo state has been thrown into mourning following the killing of two monarchs. The traditional rulers were said to be having a stakeholders meeting at Nnenasa, headquarters of Njaba Local Government Area of the state, when hoodlums struck. The affected monarchs are E. Gunmen invade crowded market, kill at least 43 in Sokoto

Gunmen killed at least 43 people in an attack in Sokoto state, the governor's office said on Monday. Gunmen kill RCCG member at church entrance in Kwara

There was tension at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Living Word Parish, Basin Road, Ilorin, Kwara, when Sina Babarinde, a member of the church, was gunned down. Gunmen abduct two undergraduates, one other in Nasarawa

Two students of Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa have been abducted by gunmen. The gunmen invaded the Mararaba community hosting the university Saturday evening, taking away the two undergraduates. Bandits kill soldiers, abduct motorists in Zamfara

Some soldiers were feared killed Wednesday as they tried to repel an attack by bandits on travellers in Zamfara State. A policewoman was declared missing after gunmen attacked Umulokpa Police Division in the Uzo-Uwani local government area of Enugu State.
