Gunmen have killed Abubakar Abdullahi, chairman of the Lere LGA chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kaduna. Gunmen blow up Kogi prison, kill 2 security guards, free inmates

Heavily armed gunmen raided a jail in Kogi state late on Sunday, blowing up the perimeter fence and freeing 266 inmates - almost everyone in the prison, authorities said. Gunmen burn three policemen inside patrol van In Delta

Three officers of the Delta State Police Command have been shot dead, with their corpses set on fire.
