Two officers missing, three wounded as gunmen ambush police convoy in Ebonyi

Two police officers are missing, while three others were injured during an attack on a convoy in Effium Community, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on Sunday. The officers were attacked alongside Ebonyi lawmaker, Chinedu Awo, who represents Ohaukwu North State Constituency in Ebonyi House of Assembly. Pirates kill four, abduct six oil workers in Bayelsa

Four persons were on Sunday feared killed and six others abducted by pirates in Bayelsa State. Among the victims were said to be oil workers working for the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. Gunmen kill two police officers, burn their bodies in Anambra

Police in Anambra state said two of their officers have been shot dead and their bodies burnt by their attackers. One officer is still missing, according to the police. Gun battle as security men resist gunmen invasion of Jos prison

Bandits kill 5, abduct 90 in Niger state communities
