Blood flowed on Thursday evening at Tor Donga in Katsina-Ala Local Government area of Benue State after some gunmen stormed the area and killed seven people while also leaving five others injured. Among the deceased were four members of the recently formed Benue Community Volunteer Guards as well as three other locals while a Catholic priest was reported injured. Sokoto State Police Command on Thursday confirmed that nine persons died in separate attacks by bandits on three villages in Sabon Birni local government area. Gunmen in the early hours of Monday bombed the Magistrate Court in Ubulu, Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State. The hoodlums ignited the court with a petrol bomb causing the entire building to go in flames.
