Five killed as gunmen attack banks, police station in Osun towns

Some armed men yesterday struck in Ikire and Apomu, Irewole and Isokan local government areas of Osun State, killing five persons in Ikire after attacking two new generation banks and a police station. It was gathered that the armed robbers had earlier robbed a bank in Apomu town around 5:00 p.m. before proceeding to Ikire where they killed three persons at a commercial bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM). Gunmen invade Ibadan Housing Estate, deploy POS machines to rob residents of cash

Armed robbers numbering about 20 were said to have invaded Alaafia Estate at the Orogun area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, dispossessing residents of their money and other valuables. It was gathered that the hoodlums used Point of Sale machines to transfer money from the accounts of some residents, who did not have cash. Herdsmen kill nine in Enugu community

No less than nine persons were reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Mgbuji- Ehamufu in Isi-Uzo local government of Enugu state during the weekend. INEC loses another office to arson in Imo

Another building belonging to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was on Sunday set ablaze in Imo State, Nigeria’s South-east. Bandits kill ten in fresh attacks on Niger state communities

Ten persons have been reportedly killed by bandits who attacked some villages in Wushishi LGA of Niger state.
