Gunmen abduct medical doctor in Edo

Tonnie Okoye, a medical doctor, has been abducted by gunmen in Edo state. The doctor was said to have been abducted along Benin-Asaba expressway at the weekend. Okoye was travelling to Auchi, in Etsako West LGA of the state, when he was kidnapped. Reports have it that the doctor was returning from the national executive council (NEC) meeting of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) which took place between Friday night and Saturday. Pilot son of serving senator killed in Kaduna

Abdulkarim Na Allah, eldest son of Bala Ibn Na Allah, was on Sunday, found dead in his room in Malali GRA, Kaduna. Father of the deceased, Bala Ibn Na Allah, is the Senator representing Kebbi South Senatorial District. The deceased, 36, was a pilot by profession. Many bandits, police officers die in raid on IPOB/ESN Imo camp

Suspected herdsmen kill eight in Benue community

Eight persons have been killed by gunmen in Yelawa town, Guma local government area of Benue state. The attack was said to have occurred on Monday around 7: 30 pm.
