Bandits storm palace, abduct Kaduna emir, wives, grandchildren, others

Police in Kaduna state say Emir of Kajuru, Alhassan Adamu, and 10 others have been kidnapped by suspected bandits in the early hours of Sunday in Kajuru town, headquarters of Kajuru Local Government area of the state. Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muhammad Jalige disclosed this to the media in Kaduna on Sunday. The Police Command in Zamfara has confirmed abduction of the Provost, College of Agriculture and Animal Science, Bakura. It also confirmed the abduction of another school teacher of Government Science Secondary School, Bakura in the early hours of Sunday. Bandits abduct mother, children in Kaduna

Bandits have abducted six people, including children, at Milgoma community in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incident, it was gathered, happened around 9pm on Friday. No fewer than 10 persons were confirmed killed by bandits in the early hours of Friday in Warkan village of Zangon Kataf LGA as well as Kakkau area of Chikun LGA of Kaduna State. Bandits kill two immigration officers, injure soldier in Katsina

Bandits on Wednesday killed two immigration officers and left a soldier injured as they raided a village in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
