Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested a Nigerian, Charles Onus, for his alleged involvement in diverting $800,000 into prepaid debit cards. The amount translates to about N320 million at the current official rate of N410 per dollar. Some armed men yesterday struck in Ikire and Apomu, Irewole and Isokan local government areas of Osun State, killing five persons in Ikire after attacking two new generation banks and a police station. Suspected herdsmen, Sunday attacked and killed no fewer than 30 Ebonyi indigenes in the State. Herdsmen kill nine in Enugu community

No less than nine persons were reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Mgbuji- Ehamufu in Isi-Uzo local government of Enugu state during the weekend.
