Nigeria's military has recovered Magumeri town taken over by suspected Boko Haram militants, a spokesman said on Sunday, a day after the attack. Oyo set to rehabilitate 100 schools with N2bn

Funmi Olaitan, Ibadan Oyo State Executive Council has approved the rehabilitation of 100 public secondary schools across the 33 local government areas as well as construction of four compartments VIP toilets. Boko Haram militants take over Borno town - Residents

Suspected members of Islamist militant group Boko Haram took over a town in the restive state of Borno in northeast Nigeria on Saturday, residents said. The attack comes days after a suicide bomber killed at least 50 people at a mosque in neighbouring Adamawa state in one of the deadliest attacks since President Muhammadu Buhari came to power in 2015 pledging to end the eight-year insurgency. FG approves fresh N28bn loan for 35 states

The Federal Government has approved a fresh budget support loan facility for 35 states across the country. Each of the states will get N800m, totalling N28 billion, to meet their salaries and other obligations.
