We have no land to give for ranching — S’East govs

Governors of South-East states rose from a meeting in Enugu on Sunday evening with a decision that no land would be made available for the establishment of cattle ranches in the zone. The meeting, held at Enugu State Government House, had governors of Enugu (Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi), Ebonyi (Dave Umahi) in attendance, while Abia and Anambra were represented by their deputy governors. FRSC to recruit 4,650 personnel

Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), says the corps will recruit additional 4,650 officers and procure new logistics vehicles to improve road safety management in the country. Adenike Oluboyo, daughter of immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Mr Lasisi Oluboyo, was on Sunday found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Akure. Hajj airlift begins July 21

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced that the inaugural flight for 2018 Hajj will commence on July 21 with pilgrims from Kogi State. Twitter suspends over 70 million accounts in two months

Twitter Inc suspended more than one million accounts a day in recent months to reduce the flow of misinformation on the platform, the Washington Post reported.
