Parents of the freed 300 male children allegedly chained, tortured and sexually assaulted at an Islamic school in Kaduna have protested against the police for putting their children in protective custody. The protesters, mostly women and who openly backed operators of the school and their methods, asked the police to release their children immediately. UK Commercial Court has granted Nigerian government’s application for a ‘stay of execution’ of a $9 billion judgment debt in favour of the Irish firm, P&ID. FG’s wages to rise by N556bn in three years

If the personnel cost budget of N2.67tn proposed by Federal Government for next year is approved by the National Assembly, then the wage bill of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government will have increased by N556bn in three years from N2.11tn in 2018 to N2.67tn in 2022. The amount was contained in the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for 2020 to 2020. Keyamo removed as Niger Delta minister, redeployed

Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Mr Festus Keyamo, has been redeployed to Ministry of Labour and Employment about one month after his assumption of office.
