Funmi Olaitan, Ibadan Patients who visit University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, are daily groaning over the new payment system introduced last month by the hospital management to check leakages and fraudulent practices among staff. It was learnt that the payment system was contracted to a consulting firm, Unified Payment Company, by the hospital management, to ease revenue collection and check leakages. Herdsmen have reportedly invaded Ohovbe Primary School in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo, disrupting academic activities. It was learnt that the herdsmen entered the school, which was not fenced, on Tuesday morning. They were said to have led their cows into one of the classrooms, a development which forced the pupils and teachers to flee for safety. The incident was said to have lasted for about one hour before the cows were later taken out of the classroom.
