Boko Haram insurgents abduct 100 people from Borno town

Islamist insurgents attacked a town in northeastern Nigeria and abducted about 100 civilians, according to local vigilantes and residents in the strife-torn region. Hoodlums attack, destroy vehicles in Imo gov's convoy

Police in Imo State have arrested 15 people who allegedly attacked the convoy of Governor Hope Uzodimma on Monday. Gunmen kidnap two foreign workers in Niger

Two foreign road contractors working in Edati local government area of Niger state have been kidnapped by armed gunmen. The kidnapped foreigners include one Arab and a Lebanese. Customs seizes vehicles, rice, others worth N10bn in single operation

Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), on Sunday, announced a single seizure of contrabands with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N10 billion. Customs Area Controller (CAC), Mr Usman Yahaya, in a statement in Lagos, said that the seizure made in one day was at Ido, Eruwa Road in Ibadan. Gunmen invade Niger community, kill 14, rustle cattle

Police Command in Niger state says 14 persons have been killed by gunmen at Ukuru Village in Mariga Local Government Area of the state.
