The family of late Mr Moshood Abiola, winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, has narrated their encounter with armed robbers. Gunmen invaded the residence of the late businessman in Ikeja, Lagos, on Wednesday. Bandits have abducted nine people from Kusasu village in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State. The armed men had stormed Kusasu market at the peak of transactions to restock their food items and other basic needs when they abducted their victims in the process. The bandits, who stormed the market in about 15 motorcycles, took their time to do their purchase before abducting their victims. Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Chief Medical Director, CMD, of General Hospital in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State. The kidnappers who laid ambush on the CMD, Mr Olufemi Adeogun also abducted a record officer with the hospital, Mrs Foluke Ajibola and another yet to be identified victim.
