Gunmen kidnap, kill Taraba LG boss

Chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba state, Salihu Dovo, has been killed by gunmen who kidnapped him early Sunday morning, local residents have said. Gunmen kill popular socialite at Ibadan hotel

A popular Ibadan socialite, Teslim Ajao was on Saturday evening killed by gunmen at an hotel in NTC area, Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State. Bandits kill six, injure eight in fresh attacks on Kaduna communities

Some bandits in separate attacks reportedly killed six persons in two local government areas of Kaduna State. The local government areas are Chikun and Giwa. Herdsmen shatter woman’s jaw, blast off finger in Ogun

Some suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly shot a woman, Morenikeji Salami, while going to her site on the Oru-Awa Road in the Ijebu-North Local Government Area of Ogun State. Bandits strike first, kill 7 vigilantes planning raid on them in Niger state

Seven vigilantes in Mashegu council area of Niger State have been killed in an ambush by armed bandits. The incident occurred on Monday when the vigilantes were planning to attack the bandits. Deputy VC of Deeper Life Church’s varsity kidnapped

Johnson Fatokun, deputy vice-chancellor of Anchor University, has been kidnapped by armed men in Nasarawa. The Anchor University is a private institution owned by Deeper Christian Life Ministry. Four police officers killed, one missing, after bandit attack in Kaduna

Four police officers were killed and one was missing after armed bandits attacked their convoy in northwest Nigeria on Friday, the Nigerian police said.
