Osinbajo attends G7 summit, meets Trump

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo left Nigeria on Saturday for Taormina, Italy to attend the G7 meeting where he met with U.S President Donald Trump. The G7 is comprised of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and U.S. He also met other leaders, including the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel. Osibanjo, Namadi Sambo disagree at Zaria water commissioning

Mother of Uber CEO killed in boating accident

The mother of ride-hailing firm Uber's chief executive has died in a boating accident near Fresno, California on Friday, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said on Saturday. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick's parents Bonnie Kalanick, 71, and Donald Kalanick were on Pine Flat Lake when their boat struck a rock and sank, it said, adding that an autopsy is planned for Sunday.
