Gunmen kill 13 in Benue communities

Gunmen suspected to be herders early hours of Sunday invaded three communities in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State and killed 13 people. Gunmen on Tuesday night attacked a popular Radio Station, Wish FM 99.5 and the Atlantic Television Network in Ozuoba, in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, with explosive devices suspected to be dynamite as well as sporadic gunshots. Gunmen attack police station in Anambra

The police in Anambra state Southeast Nigeria, said they have killed one of the gunmen who attacked Ogidi Police Divisional Headquarters in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state. The incident happened at about 2:15 a.m. on Monday. Police spokesperson in the state, Tochukwu Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement, said the attack was foiled by police operatives on duty. Gunmen kill five, set houses ablaze in Benue

No fewer than five people have been killed in another attack on the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State by suspected herders.
