‘Fake NIMC officials’ arrested in Niger Republic registering non-Nigerians

Defence Headquarters (DHQ) says its troops have arrested fake officials of National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) registering non-Nigerians in Niger Republic. NIMC operates and regulates matters of national identity in Nigeria, including issuing national identification number (NIN). Nigeria shares border with Niger Republic.
