A court in Saudi Arabia sentenced five people to death Monday for the killing of Washington Post columnist and royal family critic Jamal Khashoggi, whose grisly slaying in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul drew international condemnation and cast a cloud of suspicion over Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Gunmen kill 8, sack senator’s community

Barely one week after armed bandits abducted two expatriates and six others working for a former Senator, Mr David Umaru, armed men suspected to be bandits have attacked Umaru’s community, Kaure, Kwaki Ward in Shiroro Local Government Area. 1,000 Nigerian Christians killed by terrorists in 2019 –Reports

A new report on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria has found that about 1,000 adherents of the Christian faith have been killed by Islamic militants in 2019 alone. Nigeria's ex-attorney general held by EFCC over $1.3 billion oil deal

Nigeria’s former attorney general was detained by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) upon his return home on Thursday, the commission said in a statement, as part of an investigation into one of the oil industry’s biggest suspected corruption scandals.
