At least seven persons were killed and one abducted as gunmen in their numbers descended on three Kaduna communities. The attack took place in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. The gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen also burnt houses and foodstuffs. Scores of farmers, including their wives, were wounded when suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded and set four communities in lgbatoro/Ala/Imafon communities in Ondo North, Ondo state ablaze over disagreement on grazing and destruction of their farmlands. The state police commissioner Undia Adie had swiftly deployed detectives to the troubled communities to maintain peace. Armed bandits Saturday attacked communities in three local governments of Katsina State, killing 47 persons. Katsina State Police Command confirmed the early morning attacks and the casualty. The command’s spokesman, Gambo Isah, made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday in Katsina.
