Bandits have ambushed and killed eight persons in Rafinkada community of Wukari Council of Taraba State. The incident, which took place yesterday, was said to have further fuelled the tension in the area where the Tiv and Jukun ethnic crisis claimed lives and property. Abductors of the four construction workers with Tractia Nigerian Limited have demanded a ransom of N700 million after the company said it could not afford the N1billion earlier demanded. Rwandan genocide suspect Felicien Kabuga, who is accused of funding militias that massacred about 800,000 people, was arrested on Saturday near Paris after 26 years on the run, the French justice ministry said.
