Some directors of National Intelligence Agency (NIA) have written to the House of Representatives Committee on Security and National Intelligence to prevail on President Muhammadu Buhari to drop Mr Ahmed Rufai Abubakar as the new director-general of the agency. Writing for and on behalf of Concerned Directors of National Intelligence Agency, they used pseudo names such as E. O. Olanrewaju, Nelson Obiakor and Ahmed Sarki to protect their real identities. Cuba: Fidel Castro's son commits suicide

The 68-year-old son of Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro, Fidel Ángel Castro Díaz-Balart, has died in Havana after taking his own life, according to state media. He was found on Thursday morning and is said to have suffered from depression. Popularly known as "Fidelito", he was first born son of the former president, who died in November 2016. President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday tackled the Senate over its accusation that the Presidency did nothing about the January 1 killings in Benue State.
