Minister of information and culture, Mr Lai Mohammed, says states would no longer be refunded for construction or repair works carried out on federal roads. Only 12 Nigerian universities have approval to operate both conventional learning and Open and Distance learning (ODL), National Universities Commission (NUC) has said. The 12 were given ‘conventional’ licences to operate a dual-mode system – face to face learning in the classroom and also the open distance learning.
