Police thwart Lekki Toll Gate protests, arrest 40

True to its word, the federal government on Saturday frustrated the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest, with the police arresting 40 would-be protesters as they trooped to the scene in high brow Lekki, Lagos in ones and twos. DPO shoots Amotekun operative for arresting Fulani herdsmen in Oyo

Divisional Police Officer at Igbon Police Station in the Surulere Local Government Area of Oyo State, Ayodeji Adepoju, allegedly shot and injured a member of Oyo State Security Network Agency known as Amotekun on Friday. 4,000 herdsmen leave southern states for Kaduna - Report

About 4,000 herdsmen have moved into Kaduna state from the south following the quit notice order given to criminal herders by some state governments in the south.
