Amid severe effects of current economic recession, a total sum of N2.6 trillion was disbursed from the Fed-eration Account to the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as well as the 774 local government councils in 2016. Popular artiste, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface, has canceled the much-publicised February 6 anti-government protest, citing “security challenges”. 376 killed in Southern Kaduna in 6 months – Report

Three hundred and seventy six people were killed, 102 others injured and 2,308 houses damaged in Southern Kaduna communal clashes between May and December last year, a federal government report said. Ibori evades airport reception, gets rousing welcome in hometown
