30 feared dead in Calabar Free Trade Zone inferno

Eyewitnesses have said about 30 persons died when an inferno from an explosion razed part of the Calabar Free Trade Zone, CFTZ, in the early hours of Sunday. Health Ministry replies NHIS chief, says suspension order stands

Federal Ministry of Health has reacted to the response of the embattled Executive Secretary of National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, Usman Yusuf, to his suspension. Mr. Yusuf in a July 12 letter addressed to Health Minister, Isaac Adewole, said he would not obey the suspension order, listing five reasons for his decision.
