Why 2018 UTME results will not be released immediately – JAMB

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it will not release 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results immediately, unlike it did in 2017. The examination is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 9, to March 17. Registrar of the board, Mr Ishaq Oloyede, said this during a press conference titled “Conduct of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination” in Abuja on Wednesday. Abduction of schoolgirls by Boko Haram will never happen again - Buhari

Ex-Nasarawa Gov, Aliyu Akwe-Doma, is dead

Immediate past governor of Nasarawa State, Mr Aliyu Akwe-Doma, is dead. He died after a brief illness at a foreign hospital in Israel, a nephew Mr Ahmed Bako, said Tuesday night. 16 items JAMB candidates must not take to exam venue

Ahead of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which will begin on Friday, March 9 to March 17, Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has again warned candidates against bringing in prohibited items into the examination halls. Plateau govt declares Thursday public holiday for Buhari’s visit

Plateau government has declared Thursday a work-free day to enable residents welcome President Muhammadu Buhari on a one-day working visit to the state. More killed in Taraba crisis than Benue, Zamfara – Buhari
