106th Dapchi schoolgirl held back for not denouncing Christian faith

One of the Dapchi schoolgirls who would have been the 106th girl to be released was held in captivity because she refused to denounce her Christian faith when she was asked to do so, sources have said. The girl, named Liya Sharubu, was said to have been held back when she refused to put on the hijab like her other colleagues did during their days in captivity. A deadly outbreak linked to tainted food in South Africa is now threatening other African nations, with neighboring Namibia reporting a confirmed case that might be connected, the World Health Organization said Tuesday. Truck hits Arik plane in Lagos; another grounded in Owerri

Passengers on two aircraft belonging to Nigeria’s largest airline, Arik Air, had their flights disrupted on Sunday following incidences at the Lagos and Owerri airports.
