11 fuel tankers burnt in Kaduna inferno

An inferno at a tanker parking garage in Anguwan Mu’azu , Kaduna South Local Government Area has destroyed 11 articulated vehicles in the garage. Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KASEMA), Abdulahi Hassan, confirmed the development to journalists on Tuesday . President Muhammadu Buhari is set to travel to London for medical check up, his office has said. Presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina in a statement Monday night said the president will travel on Tuesday and will return in about a fortnight. FG launches N50b export facility

To cushion the effects of Covid-19 pandemic on non-oil export business, Industry, Trade and Investment Minister Niyi Adebayo has kicked off Federal Government’s N50 billion Export Expansion Facility Programme (EEFP). Also, the first on-line grant management portal for non-oil exports has taken off with its launch at the Export House, Abuja. The EEFP is part of Federal Government’s N2.3 trillion fund of the Nigeria Economic Sustainability Plan. Engineers on Monday “partially refloated” the colossal container ship that continues to block traffic through the Suez Canal, a canal services firm said, without providing further details about when the vessel would be set free.
