Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has warned the public of an ongoing cyber-vulnerability that allows a nearby hacker to unlock vehicles, start engines wirelessly and make away with cars. Scores of travellers have been kidnapped as gunmen hijacked three vehicles along the Emuoha area of the East-West road in Rivers State. At least seven soldiers were killed and two others were missing in Taraba state, Northeast Nigeria after they were ambushed by gunmen while on patrol, two military sources said on Wednesday. Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA) has recovered more than $23 million stolen from Nigeria by the country's late military dictator Sani Abacha, it said on Thursday, the latest in a series of similar recoveries around the world.
