No voting with temporary voter card - INEC

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says no voter will be allowed to vote with temporary voter card, in the forthcoming general elections. INEC releases final election guidelines

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released a 33-page regulations and guidelines for conduct of future elections in the country. Accordingly, the commission has banned collation officers from making or receiving telephone calls in the line of duty. INEC uncovers new methods of vote-buying

Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday said it had discovered new methods to be used by some politicians to buy votes in forthcoming general elections. Speaking at an interactive session with traditional rulers in Osun State, INEC National Commissioner, Mr Festus Okoye, however warned that any politicians caught buying votes or engaging in acts that could have negative effects on the elections would be punished. 900,165 PVCs unclaimed in Ogun - INEC

Independent National Electoral Commission in Ogun State yesterday said 900,165 Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) were yet to be claimed in the state. INEC Administrative Secretary, Mr James Popoola, disclosed this in Abeokuta at an interactive session with traditional rulers on 2019 elections in the state.
