I withdrew from debate because Buhari was absent - Atiku

Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Atiku Abubakar, has said he was at the venue of the presidential debates which held yesterday in Abuja. He, however, said he declined to participate because President Muhammadu Buhari was absent. A large crowd overwhelmed security at the venue of President Muhammadu Buhari’s election campaign in Jos on Saturday, forcing the president to leave the venue without giving a speech. Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday reiterated his plan to privatise Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) if elected on February 16. Facebook announces measures to check fake news in Nigeria’s elections

Buhari unaware of Onnoghen’s arraignment - Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says he is feeling sad over trial of Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Mr Walter Onnoghen, on allegations of false and non-asset declarations.
