Retired Air Vice-Marshal, driver identified as victims in Lagos lagoon accident

A retired Air Vice-Marshal, Mr Olufunsho Martins, and his driver, identified only as Ayodele, have drowned in the Lagos Lagoon. Oyo begins multi-door courthouse

Vehicle plunges into Lagos lagoon, occupants trapped

A vehicle late last night plunged into the lagoon by the University of Lagos (UNILAG) waterfront. It was gathered that the vehicle colluded with another before skidding into the water around 10:55pm. Court orders El-Rufai, Police, to pay Audu Maikori N40m

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered Kaduna State Governor, Mr Nasir El-Rufai, and three others to pay N40 million as damages to president of Chocolate City Group, Mr Audu Maikori. Justice John Tsoho awarded the costs as compensation for what he ruled as Maikori’s unlawful arrest and detention between February 17 and 18, and between March 10 and 13. Governor Nasir El-Rufai has vowed to challenge court ruling which awarded N40 million in damages to Mr Audu Maikori in a fundamental rights suit.
