A nationwide wave of arrests of immigrants facing deportation will commence over the weekend, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday, confirming that the plan, intended to discourage a surge of Central American migrants, was on track after a delay. 2019 Global Multidimensional Poverty Index has indicated that “multi dimensionally poor” Nigerians increased from 86 million to 98 million between 2007 and 2017. This is 12 million Nigerians, representing 1.2 million becoming extremely poor annually.
