Terrorists have attacked a mosque in Borno, killing the Chief Imam of Gima and three other worshipers. The attack, which occurred on Friday, also left many people injured as the terrorists invaded Ngulde community of Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The terrorists, numbering about 20, launched the attack early in the morning on Friday by opening fire on worshippers who had finished their Fajir prayers at the Mosque. Six people were killed on Thursday by suspected Fulani herders in a fresh attack in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. Islamic militants have stormed a hotel in Somalia’s capital, engaging in an hours-long exchange of fire with the security forces that left at least 20 people dead, according to police and witnesses.
