16 military bases were attacked by terrorists within 18 months, with 800 military personnel killed. This is where and when the attacks occurred

Terrorists on the rampage across the country have attacked 16 military bases in the last 18 months, fuelling concerns that the military was overstretched and needed to restrategise to deal with the criminals, protect its personnel and tackle the security challenges. One expatriate, two police officers killed, two abducted in bandit attack in Kogi

Kogi Police Command says two Indian expatriates are missing following Friday evening attack on a convoy of top management staff of West Africa Ceramics Company Ajaokuta, Kogi. Gunmen kidnap four traditional chiefs, others in Ondo

Gunmen on Thursday kidnapped four Ikare-Akoko chiefs along the Owo-Ikare Road in Ondo State. Terrorists shoot police AIG, kill orderly In Kaduna

Bandits have attacked the convoy of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 12, Audu Madaki, killing one of his police guards. The AIG who was said to be on his way to Abuja from Bauchi when his vehicle was ambushed also sustained injury. Terrorists who attacked Abuja-Kaduna train release five more hostages

The gunmen who attacked a Kaduna-bound train in March and abducted several passengers released five more hostages on Tuesday. The release of the hostages comes after the terrorists released four of the victims last week Monday. A newspaper publisher, Tukur Mamu, who had previously negotiated the release of some of the captives, confirmed the release of the five hostages. Terrorists wipe out family of eight, 18 others in Plateau

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, on Sunday night, wiped-out a family of eight people in Chol village of Vwang District, in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. Gunmen abduct 50 residents from Kaduna community

Gunmen have reportedly abducted at least 50 people from Damari community in Birnin-Gwari LGA of Kaduna state. Gunmen have engaged troops of the Nigerian Army in a shootout in Madalla, Niger State, Punch Newspaper reports. An oil pipeline capable of hauling 180,000 barrels a day across Nigeria has ceased transporting crude since mid-June due to theft, according to a person familiar with the information. Robbers attack bullion van, kill bank official, injure three police officers, cart away cash

An official of a commercial bank was, on Tuesday, killed when some armed robbers ambushed a bullion van conveying money to Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
