24 hours after attacking police station gunmen kill 4 soldiers in Enugu

Gunmen have shot four soldiers dead in Iyiachi community in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State. The attack came 24 hours after a police station was attacked and set ablaze in the same local government. Two people, including a policeman and a civilian who had gone to the station to lodge a complaint, were killed by the gunmen. 4-km oil pipeline running into sea used to steal Nigeria’s oil for 9 years discovered

Officials in Nigeria discovered an illegal connection line from one of its major oil export terminals into the sea that had been operating undetected for nine years, head of state oil company NNPC Ltd said. National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has busted yet another drug cartel in Lagos with the recovery of drugs with street value of N8,860,000,000. Again, gunmen kill five soldiers in Anambra

Gunmen have killed five soldiers in Umunze, a community in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria’s Southeast. The incident happened on Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m. beside a branch of the Zenith Bank, close to the popular Nkwo Umunze market in the area. Police vow ‘to make examples of the masterminds’ of the attack on Oyo police station

Police in Oyo State have launched a full scale investigation into the attack on its Divisional Police Headquarters at Iganna in Iwajowa Local Government Area of the State. Major gas pipeline in Bayelsa vandalized, with leaks and production losses, Eni reports

Italian energy group Eni said on Thursday its Ogboinbiri gas pipeline in Bayelsa state had been vandalised, causing a leak and production losses. A spokesperson for Eni said "third parties" had cut the pipeline with hacksaw. "The line is depressurized and is currently being repaired. Production losses due to the shutdown are important," the spokesperson said. National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has seized 1.8 tonnes of cocaine worth “N194 billion” in Lagos state.
