Terrorists kill 11, displace many residents across communities in Taraba

At least 11 people were killed and several others displaced when terrorists, locally referred to as bandits, on Friday evening attacked communities in Yantu and Ussa in Ussa Local Government, Taraba State. Communities in Southern Taraba, where these two towns are located, have a history of attack by non-state actors. A man is in critical condition after being shot in the head while preaching Wednesday on a street corner in a Phoenix suburb, United States. Court remands Emefiele in Kuje prison

A Federal Capital Territory High Court has remanded the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, in Kuje prison. Emefiele is standing trial on an alleged procurement fraud. Navy discovers connection points used to siphon ‘huge quantities of petrol’ from NNPCL’s Lagos pipeline
