At least six soldiers have lost their lives in an ambush along Biu-Buni Yadi road, Borno state. Gunmen have reportedly abducted a yet-to-be-confirmed number of students along the east-west road in the Ughelli area of Delta state. The students were coming from Calabar, Cross River capital, when their Sienna vehicle was attacked Friday evening. Bright Edafe, Delta police spokesperson in Delta, confirmed the incident on Monday. The case with the number FHC/ABJ/CR/111/2024 was filed at the federal high court in Abuja.
