Sharia police to arrest adults eating in public during Ramadan

Commander-General of Kano Hisbah, Mr Nabahani Usman, said Sharia police will arrest adults found eating in public during Ramadan. “We do this kind of operation yearly and we will continue it this year, “ Usman told BBC. “Even if a doctor says you should not fast, that does not mean you should eat in public while others are fasting,” he added. Lagos school which accepts plastic wastes as fees

It sounds strange but it is real - a school in Lagos State accepts empty plastic bottles from parents and guardians in exchange for payment of their children’s school fees. Morit International School at Iyalode Street, Ajegunle, Lagos, initiated Recycles Pay Education project of African Clean-Up Initiative (ACI) to lessen financial burden on parents. A pilot who was trying to crash-land this week in an Idaho field instead brought his small plane to rest at the top of a 60-foot (18-meter) tree, officials said. A female passenger has been detained by police for tossing six coins at a plane's engine for good luck before take-off in south . Bearded men carry ‘more germs than dogs’ - Study

Men’s beards carry more germs than dogs do in their fur, a study has found.
