Founder of One Love Family, Mr Satguru Maharaj Ji, has warned African leaders against taking decisions that will negatively impact on the people, saying focusing on acquiring worldly things would not bring development to the continent.
He gave the warning in an address delivered to journalists as part of activities marking his 39th year spiritual birthday, held at the Maharaj Ji Village, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
He said it is incumbent on them to take advantage of his presence in the continent in order to recreate the past laudable history of Africa, stating that by receiving divine knowledge through him the leaders will be doing the continent a lot of good to shame imperialist powers.
According to him, the type of decision taken by African leaders will go a long way in what will affect the people, noting that the present situation in Africa is caused by the unreasonable decisions taken by our leaders.
He said, "I warn African leaders against taking The Satguru's divine presence and persistent outreach on African soil for granted! I am aware of the broad range of influences that play themselves out on our leaders, day and night. This notwithstanding, I emphasize the need for them to realize that the decision to either do the biddings of Africa's wreckers or to do otherwise is theirs' to make.
"The quality of decisions taken by leaders determines the fate of people and society. The obviously abject state of African communities across the globe is a product of the abject decisions taken by African leaders at all levels of leadership in relation to the rights and welfare of Africans. The likes of late Mobutu Sese Seko and late Jean Bokasa bought and flaunted all the designer garbs and perfumes they could buy with their loot.
"Divine knowledge is the mother of all knowledge. It is the key to the spiritual vaults of anything, everything in the universe. Man has the natural and divine right to know and have anything he desires in the eternal and infinite universe. Without divine knowledge, he becomes exploitable and helpless customer to those who have and use it to prosper themselves."
Speaking on 2019 Presidential election, Maharaj Ji said he saw President Muhammadu Buhari winning the election with more votes than other candidates such as former Vice President Abubakar Atiku of PDP, former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili of ACPN, Mr. Omoyele Sowore of AAC, and 72 other presidential candidates.
He maintained that he did not see people like Atiku, Ezekwesili, Sowore and others winning the election as more people will vote for Buhari, noting that what the other candidates need to do is to support Buhari to take Nigeria to the promised land.
He said, "Elections are for human beings. This is the time to call a spade a spade. Buhari is there. He has another term in the office. I don't see Atiku, Ezekwesili, Sowore and others as President. I believe, if they will listen to me, they should not be thinking of going to elections. They should support Buhari.
"Buhari is from the North, he has spent four years now by May, let him complete his second term as the tradition that a man from North will spend 8 years and South will spend 8 years. All of them, they should wait after he completes the second term in the office.
"All of them, they should work with him. Elections are coming, but you have to see the personalities that are involved in the elections. Buhari introduced the whistle blower policy. He has awaked the dead industries. So, they just have to give him the time. They should support him. Buhari should be supported and I want all Nigerians to support him. When Buhari came, unemployment rate was unbearable. Now, it is going down.
"All these people making false predictions are their agents. They are agents of colonial system. Buhari is there, he has beaten all of them. He introduced the whistle blower policy, he said that if you know anyone that steal our money tell me, he will still give you money. I have worked with Obasanjo, Atiku and all of them but Buhari is better".
