Former Head of State, Mr Abdulsalami Abubakar, has said former President Goodluck Jonathan is the reason Nigeria is enjoying peace today.

In his remarks at Mr Jonathan‘s book, ‘My Transition Hours’, presentation at Congress Hall of the hotel, Abubakar described the former president as an example to Africa.

He said, “We cannot thank you enough for the peace we are enjoying in the country when you honorably conceded defeat after 2015 general elections.

“Your have remained an example to Africa. You have shown you love your country more than you love power.

“I wish you well and wish you many happy returns.”
