Oyo NURTW boss, Fele, is dead

The Oyo State Chairman of the National Union of Road and Transport Workers, Taofeek Ayorinde, a.k.a., Fele is dead.

Multiple sources in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, confirmed his death Tuesday evening.

Details of the death still remain sketchy as at press time Tuesday evening.

But the Oyo State government, in a statement by the Special Adviser to Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Communication and Strategy, Bolaji Tunji, said it received the news with heavy heart and utter disbelief.

Describing the death of the NURTW boss as a huge loss to the family the state and the Southwest, Mr Ajimobi said that he was particularly pained because he had lost “a dependable ally and purveyor of peace”.
