How Senator Isiaka Adeleke died

Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke from Osun state is dead. Senator Adeleke was the first civilian governor of Osun state.

 

He died this morning at an Osogbo hospital where he was rushed to after complaining about pains in one of his legs.

 

According to sources, Adeleke was at Iwo yesterday for a political meeting before retiring to his country home in Ede around 10pm.

 

A reliable source informed that he woke up this morning complaining about his leg for which he was taken to an Osogbo private hospital where he breathed his.

 

Adeleke was a two-time senator who represented Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State from 2007 to 2011 and was elected again under the banner of All Progressives Congress in 2015.

 

Adeleke, 62, was born in Ede, Osun state. He was until his death making consultations with key stakeholders in Osun state to return as governor in 2018.
