Since they broke into the Nigerian music scene about three years ago, talented duo known as FTK have captured the imagination of lovers of popular contemporary music, who have responded to their energetic beat and on-stage presence with enthusiasm.

Their music is also a regular feature of radio airwaves, as well as online.

When something is nice, as someone once said, you play it twice. FTK, which is short for Falobi Taiwo & Kehinde, is composed of twins who – in their other life – are both undergraduates of Mass Communications at Babcock University.

Their double-barreled virtuosity is complemented by their ability to play instruments such as guitar and lead live bands during their stage performances – especially at mega events such as the Star Trek extravaganza and comedy shows, among others.

Their hit song, ‘Gbesoke,’ featuring 9ice, was FTK’s launch-pad into the prominence they enjoy today.

Since release of that game-changing single, the duo has not looked back. The Falobi twins have gone on to win critical acclaim, including their recent winning of the ‘Most Promising Group’ (Nigeria) Award at the 2017 Ghana-Nigeria Music Awards, as well as at the 2017 ADVAN Awards for Marketing Excellence.

FTK have now taken their engagement with their teeming adoring fans to a new level with the release of their latest single, ‘Spending Money,’ which insiders say is another potential hit among discerning lovers of good music.

Clearly, these talented twin brothers aim to be at the top of their game for a long time to come, and the Nigerian music scene is seeing the evolution of FTK.
