FG to beef up security in worship centres - Minister

The Federal Government says it will come up with security plans that will guarantee the safety of lives and property in worship centres across the country. 183 federal ministries, agencies in massive illegal recruitment

Almost all federal ministries, departments and agencies have been carrying out illegal mass recruitments. Many government parastatals including Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Federal Inland Revenue Service, and Nigerian Prisons Service, among others have been dogged by recruitment scandals which they have vehemently denied. Saraki sacks scores of aides

President of Senate, Bukola Saraki, has sacked several of aides thereby scaling down the number widely seen as wasteful. Daily Trust Newspapers says 98 aides were sacked, a figure disputed by Mr. Saraki’s spokesperson, Yusuph Olaniyonu; who, however, did not provide the actual number dismissed. 2016 was hottest year on record, international report confirms

A report compiled by scientists around the world confirmed Thursday that 2016 was the hottest year since tracking began.
