Protesting truck drivers on Friday blocked the River Niger Bridgehead in Onitsha, Anambra State. The drivers said they were protesting against the state government tax imposition on trailers, lorries, truck,s and other vehicles bringing goods into Anambra. Central Bank of Nigeria says it has retrieved more than N1 trillion since its launch of new naira notes in a bid to move cash back into the banking system.
