Air Peace Limited has announced the expansion of its network routes to Douala, Cameroon and Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

In a statement issued by the airline on Tuesday, the airline said that scheduled commercial flights from Lagos and Port Harcourt to Douala would commence August 19.

The statement also noted that the airline was set to launch Abuja – Ibadan route on the same day.

Spokesperson for the airline, Stanley Olisa, stated that the Douala route would operate three days weekly while Ibadan service would be operated daily.

Olisa said, “These new routes will be operated with our ultramodern Embraer 195-E2 aircraft, and as we take delivery of more brand new E195-E2s as well as other aircraft undergoing maintenance abroad, we shall reinstate more routes and open up more connections.”

He also said customers could book their flights for the new routes on the airline’s website or its mobile app.

According to him, Air Peace has resolved to continue providing peaceful and strategic connectivity, in line with its no-city-left-behind drive.

The airline recently resumed most of its regional routes which were suspended following the outbreak of Covid-19 and the lockdown that ensued last year.

It said flights into Freetown, Banjul, Dakar, and Accra had been restored.
