The Supreme Court on Friday distanced the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, from a purported meeting with the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, in London. Banks to open all weekend to ease cash shortages

In compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) latest directive, commercial banks have announced that their various branches will be open on weekends for customers to deposit and withdraw cash. Earlier today, the CBN said that it evacuated banknotes from its vaults to commercial banks across the country. Generators provide 75 percent electricity in Nigeria – Report

About 75 per cent of electricity consumed in Nigeria comes from diesel and petrol-powered generators, the latest reports released on Monday by the Society for Planet and Prosperity, GCA Capital Partners and Climate Advisers Network, showed.
