Parliament shooting: Woman dies in UK attack

A woman has died on Westminster Bridge in central London in what police are treating as a terrorist incident. A police officer was also stabbed in the nearby Houses of Parliament by an attacker, who was shot by police. Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Plateau State, Sam Galadima, on Wednesday slumped and died at the Rwang-pam Township Stadium in Jos. A witness said the commissioner slumped at the stadium and was rushed to the Plateau specialist hospital, where he was confirmed dead by doctors. The commissioner died while jogging during the weekly physical excise for state executive council members introduced by Governor Simon Lalong. 8 killed as suicide bombers target Maiduguri

Nigerian officials say at least eight people have been killed after five suicide bombers attacked the northeastern city of Maiduguri. National Emergency Management Agency says the Wednesday morning blasts were detonated at various points along the Maiduguri-Gamboru highway.
