Dangote Refinery has slashed the price of automotive gas oil (diesel) to N1,000 per litre, down from N1,200.

The move aims to make the product more accessible and affordable, with potential benefits for the economy, including mitigating high inflation rates.

The refinery recently set a minimum purchase volume of one million litres for oil marketers.
