President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja from London, United Kingdom.
His plane landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 7 pm.
Mr Buhari was in london for medical reasons on the request of his doctor, the presidency said.
A tweet from the handle of the Presidency; @NGRPresident said “@MBuhari this evening returned to Abuja”.
Buhari left Abuja on Tuesday on a four-day medical trip to UK.
He had stayed in London for two days last week while returning from Washington, United States, where he met with President Donald Trump.
A statement by a presidential spokesperson, Mr Garba Shehu, on Monday said, “In the course of the technical stop-over for aircraft maintenance in London on his way back from Washington last week, the president had a meeting with his doctor.”
Shehu said the doctor requested “the president to return for a meeting which he agreed to do.”
The spokesperson said the president was expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
He returned a day earlier.
